Kadapa: Congress workers on Sunday resorted to Rasta Roko at Kazipet on the Kadapa-Kurnool national highway in protest against the dismissal of Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy.
One of the supporters of Ravindra Reddy, a housewife, doused herself with kerosene and attempted to set her aflame in protest against the dismissal of Ravindra Reddy. With this, the situation in Kazipet turned tense. The vehicles remained stranded on the national highway up to one kilometer.
